A Coffee Machine Called Otto

I Want One. I Want One Now!

Kitchen appliances; let’s face it, the ones that work are usually pretty ugly. Which is why I saved my pennies and bought myself an Atomic stovetop espresso machine. Problem is they’re hard to find and often need restoring. Thankfully the good people at Otto have gone to the trouble of making a new version. And it looks amazing. Apparently they work too. To be honest I’m not that fussed; I’d be happy just looking at it.

I have one….use it daily. You need practice to get a consistent espresso, its no push button jobby…. OTTO is so much fun and a process that can be a type of coffee making meditation each morning.

By the way…..I enjoy your site, I am in Japan and sharing it with baristas here, they are inspired…..
