Let’s face it, there are times when, as much as you’d kill for one, a short black is probably out of the question. Like on a camping trip for example. Or during a blackout caused by a cyclone. And a cyclone is the worst possible time to be having caffeine withdrawals. Well the good news is that some boffin has come up with a solution. It’s called the mypressi Twist.

It’s ingenuously simple; the handle contains a nitrous bulb to pressurise the group to 9 bar and deliver a shot of coffee. All you need is access to almost boiling water. Pretty clever really. And based on the video, it looks like it works.
