Not In Melbourne?

Side Library

We love the design of this tiny cafe in New York. They have taken the idea of a library and turned it on its head- literally. The floor becomes a wall and the wall becomes the ceiling. Cool! Looks like a great place to settle in for a coffee and a good book.

Wow, great photos. What a fantastic fit-out. I feel like I’m looking at a photoshop optical illusion creation.

I was just walking past that exact cafe in NYC yesterday and was wowed by how cool the fit out was.

On first glance it just looks like a cool design on the walls but then when you turn your head you realise the book shelf motif. It gives the joint a bookshop cafe feel without the books…
