When the shopping gets too much for you, check out Café Gitane in Soho. A great spot for a casual lunch with a French-Moroccan fusion of flavours. I was instantly drawn to the unusual creation I saw on the next table which I discovered to be a Moroccan cous cous with hummus and a baguette. Delicieux!

Friendly staff, bright uplifting, colourful decor and a healthy dose of beautiful people all work in its favour. We even saw Terry Richardson in his trademark flannel checking things out.

Having recently spent 11 days in New York in July this cafe was a god send for myself and my family. Great coffee ( melbourne style) food was moorish and delicious and the location had a bohemiam feel about it.Highly recommended
