One of my best friends, Dave, practically lives across the road from Mixed Business in Clifton Hill, so you’d be right to expect that he was the one that put me onto this lo-fi gem. But alas no. Nope, despite the fact that we’ve been inseperable for nigh on twenty years, I had to rely on a friend of a friend – a virtual stranger – Georgie, to hook me up. Props to you Georgie. Dave, this is the sound of internet hating you.
Now I’m going to let Dave redeem himself by telling you about Mixed Business through the medium of the SMS.

Dave: Good baked beans at Mixed…
Jerome: How much do you love ellipses?
Dave: Almost as much as the rosemary and potato roesti at Mixed…
Dave: The food’s really good at Mixed. It looks good, nice little courtyard out back. They give you a little nana blanket to keep your knees warm.
Jerome: Nobody likes a cold knee.
Dave: The staff all go to Meredith… lots to like. Surely an Espresso Melbourne type of thing.
Jerome: Thanks for the heads up.
